. What is The Transformation of Consciousness? Let's start with some basic principles: How do you eat an elephant? Well, actually you don't, but symbolically speaking, if you did, the answer would be, "One Bite at a time." For the vast majority of us, the same is true the transformation of our consciousness. This change is about a shift from:
In the face of dozens of unanswerable questions, here's the inevitable question that must be answered: How do I function in this body called "me" on this planet called Earth? We have two ways to approach this question:
The Transformation of Consciousness is about moving for the former to the latter. Then the next question is: "How do we make that shift? " |

Getting Back to Basics |
|
If you were teaching mathematics, would you start with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus, or would you begin with basic addition and subtraction? You'd start with the fundamentals, of course! The same is true in teaching any other discipline. Unfortunately, many teachers of self-awareness leave out the underlying contexts and several of the basic steps. These missing pieces leave people with false or incomplete understandings of the underlying context of where they and all the rest of us are right now. To say this symbolically, many of the wisdom givers are teaching at the college level, and assuming that their audiences already knows the material that belongs in grades one through twelve. The basics may left out for several reasons. Here are some of them: First, because the basics, although invisible to many people, are obvious to the teachers. Second, most students are adults, so it is assumed that their spiritual understanding is also at the adult level. Third, teaching the basics smacks squarely into the face of some long-held and very cherished illusions. Fourth, the basics are also left out because challenging long standing illusions is not only difficult, it can also be deadly. Unfortunately, leaving out the underlying truths is like trying to build and house without a foundation. It simply doesn't create a very stable structure. Let's see if we can find some of those missing pieces? When you look closely at the controversial issues examined below, you find objective reality, pure fantasy, and personal religious beliefs are all scrambled together. |

The Basics |
|
All of life's problems (yours, mine and everybody else's) have the same core cause -- we hold beliefs that just are not true. Because life is not what you've been led to believe it is by those who claim to know, you, I, and everybody else have been (and still are) making critical, irreversible, life-altering decisions based on false, incomplete, and/or intentionally deceptive information. On this website and on our other TLC-Life-Center Websites we'll show you how to take back control of your own life. Please note that each of the beliefs discussed below in intimately related to every other belief so that the order of the listing, although seemingly somewhat logical, is actually quite arbitrary. |

|
1) Separation Separation ... If you were to ask what is the one single most devastating illusion of all time, it has to be the belief that humans are separate from Creator/God. And running a close second and third are the beliefs that humans are separate for nature and separate from each other. Christianity, Judaism and Islam are all religions that perpetuate the belief that humans are separate form Creator/God, separate for nature and separate from each other. The Unity of Everything: The latest evidence for sub-atomic physics tells us that everything is connected to everything else -- that everything is part of everything else -- that everything is everything else. -- that there is no such thing as physical matter -- that what we see as physical is actually energy -- that energy is controlled by consciousness -- that simply observing something is an act of creation and -- that observation changes the thing observed. 2) Denial and Projection Denial and Projection ... The most common way that people deal with the uncomfortable truths of life is to simply ignore them and to ignore the evidence that contradicts their cherished beliefs. Religious leaders are long-noted for declaring reality and for refusing to examine the evidence that conflicts with their beliefs. Lies of Omission ' are the common threads holding this problem together. If we are to survive as a species, we must give up our fairytales and examine all the evidence and do so with as much objectivity as possible. Denial: Most people are denying or
ignoring the rules of the
universe. They operate on the belief the
rules of reality don't exist, or they do exist,
one can be clever and deny that they
exist and they'll go away. Some common
false beliefs are: Here's a touch of reality: Every effect has a cause. Every cause has an effect. Everything is cyclical. Nothing is open-ended. Everything that you put out comes back to you. The laws or the universe always function without exception. One law can be used to overpower another law, but the laws, themselves, cannot be broken. You and I and everyone else are all part of a single unified whole. We are intimately interconnected wit Creator/God. We are intimately interconnected with nature. We are intimately interconnected with every other being on the planet. Here's an Specific Example of Ignoring the Evidence: 3 3Assumptions ... Unless the reason for life on Earth is totally unknowable, there are only three possible answers to the "Why-life-on-Earth?" question: The Christian one-life-ism Assumption -- Humans are created at conception' as their physical bodies -- live only one life on Earth, and then, at death, are magically transformed again into sprit beings who go to heaven or hell forever. The Reincarnation Theory --- Humans are eternal, non-physical beings who always were and always will be. ' We are non-physical beings who repeatedly come to Earth and temporarily inhabit human bodies. Both birth and death are simply transformations of form. The Atheism belief --- Humans are physical matter that has magically acquired consciousness. This one physical life is all there is. When the body dies, the being ceases to exist. Because each of these three assumptions is in direct conflict with the other two, only one of them can possibly be an accurate representation of Earth-plane reality. Which one is true? No one can at the moment, prove any one of them to be true with absolute certainty; however, the evidence strongly points to the conclusion that reincarnation is the assumption most likely to be correct. This is not the destroy religion as we currently know it, but rather to invite some re-evaluations- reevaluations designed to align religious theology with common sense and with what the latest evidence tells us is most likely reality. For example, understanding ourselves and inside of and an integral part of God instead of believing that we are outside of and separate from God, would have a major impact on human behavior. Readers are invited to examine our web page on the Three basic religious assumptions.' and the page titled: Universal Spirituality. ' Projection: On a personal level, people tend to deny aspects of themselves and then look for and hate those same character traits in others. When someone is being judgmental or expresses an emotion-laden opinion about you or someone else, they are also talking about a denied aspect of themselves. The concept is called projection. ' Also, see the section below titled: Victim Consciousness.` |

3) Victim Consciousness Victim Consciousness ... The typical human response to a problem is to look outside of one's self and find someone or something "out there" to blame for what's wrong in one's own life. Victim consciousness is a function of not knowing the rules, applying them incorrectly, or not applying them at all. The evidence tells us that there are no victims, only unconscious creators. Here's the most basic rule: You Are the Creator of Your Life: Within the context of life on Earth in this time frame, everything we experience in our personal lives is a function of our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, and expectations. Our emotions are the power behind our thoughts. To this internal world, we add our words and our actions. By this combination of the physical and non-physical aspects of reality, we each literally create our own lives. Become an Intentional Creator: Most of us are presently creating our lives unconsciously and do so by default, happenstance, chance, or by accident. The laws of the Universe ' tell us that instead of being at the mercy of an angry, fickle, vindictive god, that we are actually powerful creators creating unconsciously. When you take back your creative control, you can, with grace and ease, literally change your life. We'll show you some common, core, false beliefs and assist you to get beyond them. |

4) Not Knowing the Rules of Earth-plane Living If you don't know the rules, or if you are not applying them, or if you are applying them incorrectly, your level of success will be minimal, at best. Earth-plane reality has several sets of rules. Most of us are familiar with the rules on the physical side of realty, such as gravity, but most are unfamiliar with the rules on the invisible side of reality. Here's just one example. Consciousness directs creation. Your consciousness directs creation. Because you are consciousness you are creating in every waking moment. What you create is a function of: a) what you think about and b) how you feel about what you think about. What we experience here on Earth is a physical, mirror image of your dominant thoughts and emotions. Another factor to consider is that one must create from one's internal consciousness and not from the out there world. 5) Holding False Beliefs About God One needs to understand that the concept we call God is the ultimate mystery of life. Beyond the fact that He/She/It has a profound affect upon us, we know with certainty, absolutely nothing about the nature of God. Those who speak about God, are telling us their beliefs about God. What they say about God is conjecture, speculation, fabrications, or guesswork, and the like. Most commonly, those expressing their beliefs about God are simply parroting of what someone else believes or what some long-dead religious devotee believed about God. How do we relate to the ultimate mystery called God? The most logical approach is to examine some of the creations of Creator/God and based on what the evidence tells us about those creations, to generate a theory of a set of theories about what is most likely reality. The most readily available creation of Creator/God to examine is ourselves. We'll get into that later when we enter the phase of Theta Healing / Theta Transformation. (Additional Notes) ' |

6) Not Knowing Who and What We Are. Another highly destructive illusion is holding beliefs about who and what we are that are unprovable and/or that are in direct conflict with what the evidence tells us. By denying or ignoring the evidence about who and what we are, we place ourselves in a position out of which it is impossible to make accurate assessments of our lives on Earth. As a result we make incredibly destructive decisions based on fairytale beliefs. The two classic examples of this are the ones given above: 1) Separation ` and 2) The Three Religious Assumptions.`As an alternative, we suggest asking: Who am I? What am I? Then examining all the available evidence and drawing a theoretical conclusion about who and what we are. The evidence of the unity of everything points in strong support of the long-held belief of the Eastern religions that humans are eternal, non-physical, beings of energy, temporarily inhabiting human bodies. If you are not your physical body, what are you? If you mind is not part of your physical body, what and where is it? This commonly leaves people with three personal problems: Low self esteem. Not trusting one's self. Not trusting Creator/God. |
