How do we move our intention |
|
We do so by seeking and finding the truth |

Where Are the Wolves: If there is a super-evil being called "the devil," how do you suppose he presents himself to the world -- to this world -- right here -- right now? Look around you. Do you see any self-proclaimed masters of evil? No! Why not? Because if there is a devil, he's almost certainly disguised as something that he's not. Have you ever heard this statement: "Beware of the wolves in sheep's clothing."? What does that tell you? And how about this line: "By their fruits, you shall know them."? When was the last time you found a wolf wearing sheep's clothing? When was the last time you even looked for one? Of course, you know, were not actually looking for wolves. The metaphor is symbolic, and it tell us to beware of those who: 1) hide their true intentions (called having a hidden agenda), 2) pretend to be something that they are not, or 3) are both at the same time. While the existence of the Devil in open to speculation, the existence of con artists certainly is not. Considered this aspect the con artist world: "The really good crooks and con artists never get caught. The Devil's Helpers: If there is a devil, do you suppose he is working all by himself? Would he have agents working with him and/or for him? If the devil has agents working for him, how would you recognize them? What would you look for? Here's another twist in the devil's path: Is it possible that the devil has tricked some honest, loving, well-intended people into working for him? How would you recognize humans who have been duped by the Devil into doing evil in the name of good? What Does the Bible Say? You say you are a devout Christian -- a believer in the Christian Bible. What does the Christian Bible tell you about finding Satan and/or his agents? It says: "Beware of the wolves in sheep's clothing.? --- "By their fruits, you shall know them." These are the words of none other than Jesus, Himself. Was He lying or was he speaking the truth? Did He know what he was talking about or are these words simply meaningless ramblings of a fool? How does your faith tell you to answer these questions? Let me ask the two basic questions again: When was the last time you found a wolf wearing sheep's clothing? When was the last time you even looked for one? Are you willing to look for some wolves right now? Where shall we start looking? What would "the fruits" of a wolf wearing sheep's clothing look like? Here's a possibility to consider: Most of the major acts of destructive human behavior are the products of mindless would-b-do-gooders following orders from their revered, religious leaders. A top-of-the-line con artist knows that slickest way to win big in the world of con is to manipulate and alter someone else's beliefs. So the masters of con don't actually give any orders, they alter their mark's (their target, their victim) beliefs and those beliefs compel the person to engage in the con artist's desired behavior. The revered leaders tell these mindless sheep that God wants them to do this or that. And, all too many of them, without the slightest hesitation, simply, mindlessly, go and do as they are told. This is how suicide bombers are manufactured. They never stop to consider this possibility: Those claiming to be speaking God's rules could be con artists (wolves in sheep's clothing) disguised as agents from God. They could be honest, loving, well-intended people tricked into doing or promoting the devil's work? What about those men who claim to be speaking to God and telling you what God wants you to do? Could they be some of the missing wolves? Life's Ultimate Mystery: The concept we call God is the ultimate mystery of life. Nobody can prove with certainty, anything at all about whatever it is or isn't that we call God. What does the Bible tell you about God? Back to the Bible: Have you read Escalates 11:5 in the Christian Bible lately? Let me repeat it for you right here, right now. "As you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of the woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.” And what about 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. And then there's Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." Where Does this Leave Us? So here's the Bible telling us in three clear and distinct passages that humans do not know how God works. Add these three passages to the two quoted above and where do these five Biblical passages take your mind? Stop and think about this for a moment. And here's another passage to consider. This one is John 8:32: “Know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

As time permits, this discussion will be expanded. In the mean time, readers are invited to TLC-Life-Center's related web pages. Here are two of them:
"The
Rapture" is a conservative Christian belief that the
world is about to end any day now, and when it does all
born-again saved Christians will be ushered directly
into heaven above the clouds to be with Jesus
and the superhuman being called God.
Here's another perspective -- a spiritual perspective -- on life and on who and what human beings are. Since nothing in the known universe is static, this perspective is presented as another theory -- another possibility. If you bring your mind into your religion, and in
prayer rise up and ask to talk to the Angel of Truth, this is one place you
might find yourself. |
