One Bite at a Time  --
Some Note's and Rambling Regarding Life's Unanswerable Questions:

One climbs a mountain one step at a time. -- puts on his/her shoes one at a time -- only ride one horse at a time.    The evidence indicates that physical life is not a destination.   It's a step-at-a-time process.   It's a daily journey of old habits and an occasional new discoveries.   We've also noticed that everything in physical space takes time.   So it is with one's self-discovery.

That discovery process began when we were babies.   It began the first time we noticed the difference between ourselves and our environment.  It continues ever day of our live, and today we are still asking questions such as:  Who am I?  What am I?   Where did I come from?   Why am I here?   Am I my Body?   What happens when my body dies -- do I cease to be?   What is the source and cause of all this stuff we call physical?   Lot's of questions.   Very few answers.

What is my relationship to everything outside of me.   Who and what is the "me" that I just referred to?   Why do I feel compelled to do certain things and pushed away from other actions.   How does the Universe function?   What are these feeling I keep having inside of me?

I can learn things and change my behavior, but even if I don't, there appears to be a default program which controls my behavior.   How come I can learn so much more than the animals.   Speaking of animals,  my body is animal in nature.   Am I an animal?   Am I part of nature?   Am I part of the universe?   What makes me different from my pet dog, Charlie?   Is it even possible to find answers to this type of question?

And then there's the really important questions like:   Which team won yesterday's ball game?  Why are pants a pair?   How high is up?    Where does the sky begin?  Where does the hole go when you eat a donut?   If you were in a space ship heading for Mars, which way would be up, or down or left or right or north or south.  When does cold become hot, or wet become dry, or sad become happy?

And then there's the  two questions that have plagued Would-"B"-Do-Gooders"  for years:   "When does life begin?"  and    "If you take the" f" out of shift, does it become obscene?"    (Those of you who are hung up on being against sex and against the use of four-letter-words might also note that if you get the "f" out of life you get a lie.)

And what about those answers that don't have any questions,  like:  "the opposite of marshmallow," or  "Serendipity's mother in law."?

And then there's inevitable questions that must be answered without anything physical upon which to base one's answer:   How do I function in this body called "me" on this place called Earth?   We still have to answer this question, even without answers to all the other questions listed above and without answers to the hundreds of other unresolved questions not listed above.

In spite of the fact that life can, at times, get rather confusing, frustration and difficult, we still have to answer that question.   Here are two approaches:   1)  We can do what others have done for centuries -- do as our parents and other adult role models did.   or 2)  We can examine the evidence and take actions based upon the most reasonable logical theory about what is in the highest and best interest of all concerned in the long run.   The Transformation of Consciousness is about moving for the former to the latter.

What Is God  --   (Additional Notes...
Some Note's and Rambling Regarding God

One can say, "I know because the Bible tells me so."    When one examines the time and the culture, and the common beliefs of the people of that era, and the context within which this book was written, and the nature, motivation and behavior of those overseeing its writing and its editing, and the large number of books  that were simply left out, one has to be skeptical about taking it as the complete, literal, and the only truth about God.   The teaching of Jesus are masterful; it's an excellent historical treatise of the life in that time; and symbolically, it has some powerful messages, but taking it as  literal and only truth is naive at best.

When one speculates about the nature of God, what are the possibilities.   Some basic questions come to mind:   Am I inside or outside of God?   Are the beliefs most people have about truths or are they beliefs.   Is God really a superhuman being living above the clouds in a place called heaven?

Who am I?   What am I?   Was I created inherently evil?  Is original sin a truth or a fairytale made up by people whose motives were to dominate others, control their behavior, and extract money and other services?

Vianna Stibal, the creator of Theta Healing, in her book titled Theta Healing,***  describes reality by breaking it into an arbitrary division she calls the seven planes of existence.   In her book, she makes a clear distinction between the non-physical beings of the fifth plane some of whom claim to be God and the Ultimate Creator/God of the seventh plane.

Readers are invited to consider this possibility:   If a powerful fifth plane entity were to speak to someone on Earth (the third plane) and say to that person,  "I am God."  how would the Earth bound person know that what he was hearing was or was not God?  He wouldn't.   In an agrarian,  fear-based superstitious culture, where killing and burning animals and people to appease an angry, super-powerful God who lived in the sky was common, what would an unschooled sheepherder do when he encountered something mysterious that called itself God?   He bow down and submit to whatever that entity demanded.

The best way to test this comes from the Christian Bible, itself:  "By their fruits, you shall know them."   One would be wise to examine what the fruits of traditional religion and compare that to the
