Why is this distinction important?   Because there is a huge, difference in behavior between those who believe that they are outside of God and those who believe that they are inside of  The Creator of ALL That Is.

The Evidence Tells Us That We Are Inside of God, NOT OUTSIDE! 

The evidence points to the conclusion that we are intimately related to,  intimately inter-related with, and an integral part of  the Creator of the Universe.    God "out there" somewhere as a superhuman being living above the clouds is an antiquated myth that must be openly and honestly examined.   Astronomers haven't found God where the Christian Bible  in chapter one of Genesis says it is -- in the firmament above the clouds.   Webster's dictionary defines "firmament" as "the sky."    So when we rephrase this Biblical declaration  using "the sky," and ask:   "Where is heaven (and thus, where is God) ?"  The answer is:    In the sky above the clouds.    Yaw!   Sure!    And the Earth is really flat!

We Are Inside of Nature, NOT OUTSIDE!    

The overwhelming evidence indicates that we are intimately related to,  intimately inter-related with, and an integral part of  the physical Earth.    We are like flowers on the tree of life.   Unfortunately,  humans have considered themselves to be above nature and have become egocentric, callous,  deadly parasites.    And as you know, when a parasite kills its host, it, too dies.    

Any time any human being alters his/her environment it automatically produces consequences.   Those consequences may be small and/or they may not show up immediately, but they are inevitable.   Woe onto he who cuts a tree without considering the consequences.    Woe on to he who pees into a river without considering the consequences.   We, the individually we, can cut a tree or two and here and there pee into a river, but woe is onto the collective "we" when six billion of us each cut (or indirectly cause to be cut) only a single tree and woe is onto the collective "we" when six billion of us each participate in polluting our rivers, lakes, and streams.
