If You're Betting On The Rapture   

The Rapture  is not going to save you!   Here's Why '     

For those of you who believe you are at the effect of the tradition Christian God  (the superhuman being who lives in the sky),   let us remind you that God will still do whatever He intends to do, so if you work with us in Reversing Global Climate Chang and The rapture ' is real, you still win.   But if you ignore us and bet everything  on " the rapture"  (including you children's lives, your grandchildren's live and the lives of about six billion other humans) and you're wrong, you lose BIG TIME!    

If you support "the rapture" and it doesn't show up, you end up living or, more likely,  prematurely dying on a planet that you helped or allowed to be irreversibly damaged.   You children and grand children will either hate you, think you were a damned fool, or both.   The planet will be dramatically altered, and those changes could trigger the death of most of the world's plants and animals and most if not all humans, including your children and grandchildren.   Is this the kind of bet you want to make.

Crisis and Denial:   

Denial is one of humanity's biggest problems.   One has but to examine human history to see that our human nature (and/or our internal mental conditioning)  leads us to deny the need to act until the-easy-time-to-act  has long past.   We need not go outside of our own personal lives to see examples of this.   Think back a minute or so and remember one or more times when you saw a problem heading your way and simply ignored the warning signs?   

Here Are Two, Global-Level, Historical Examples:

Recent history gives us two, all-too-obvious, examples of this incredibly-blind, short-term-gain,  long-term-loss   stupidity.   These examples are about the actions of two American Presidents.  

First, at the close of the second world war, President Truman had the power to completely eliminate Joseph Stalin and Russian brand of fascism that disguised itself as  Communism in a matter of a few weeks.   The same thing could then have been done in china in the weeks after that.   The entire world could have been turned democratic in less than one year.  

As you well know, in a war, superior technology overpowers the adversary, and vastly superior technology is simply undefeatable.   In 1945, President Truman could have simply said to the Russian people, eliminate Stalin or Russian cities will start disappearing.   He could have directed the military to take some of the Russian leaders to Hiroshima, Japan, show them first hand the power they were facing and  and then said to them,  eliminate Stalin, create a democratic political system in all of Russia or Moscow disappears like Hiroshima just did.    

What actually happened?   Instead of eliminating the disease, those running the U.S. government chose to create a policy of containment.   That's like someone  having a cancerous growth on their leg and the doctor responding by saying, that it's OK, we'll just keep it in your leg.   It doesn't take Einstein of Sherlock Holmes to figure out that that leaving Stalin in control of Russia was an incredible stupid decision.  

A second and more recent example, occurred in the 1991 Gulf War.  George Bush Sr. stopped the 1990-1991 Gulf War when American troops were twenty-three kilometers from Saddam Hussein's palace.   Bush Sr. intentionally left Hussein in power.   

He could have simply surrounded Baghdad and announced that Hussein  was about to be eliminated and that the Bathe party was about to be purged of criminals, renamed, and revamped to support the people.    He could have said to the Iraqi  military and to to the thousand of Iraqi troops, then deployed in southern Iraq,  "We'll provide air support and you go into Baghdad  an throw Hussein out."  With Hussein and his closest henchmen gone, democratic practices could have been installed with relative ease. 

Instead, what did George Sr. do?   He murdered thousands of those poor bastards stuck in the desert, and then went home, leaving Hussein in power and the job undone.   His public excuse was that if he took Hussein out, they might put someone worse in.   Stalin and Hitler were already dead, and he had other plans for George junior, so no one seems to know where he expected find anybody worse.    But that didn't seem to matter to him, nor the the public either, because nobody openly questioned his blatant stupidity.

Over a million and a half Iraqis died between that date and 2001.   They died from malnutrition, medical neglect, and poor sanitation.   They died by intentional mass murder.   Over half a million of those who died were children, especially very young children.   They died under intentional neglect or they died under direct orders from Saddam Hussein.   In legal terms, George Sr. was an accomplice to the murder of more than 1,500,000 of our fellow humans.   

How many thousands more adults and innocent children  have died since George Bush Jr. started the latest Iraq war?    If  George Sr.  had not, in 1991,  bowed to the wishes of those who sell military hardware,  Iraq would be a very different place today.   There would not be in the present-day War in Iraq.   Neither would there be global terrorism.   Could you think of any better use for $480,000,000,000 than for the production of murder and chaos?   If you add the peripheral costs, such as anti-terrorism, to that four hundred and eighty billion, the real cost of the George Jr. fiasco  is more like two trillion dollars.   

And all the mass murder and chaos, has a personal price, too -- a price  that each and every one of us is paying, today -- a price  that will continue to be extracted from all humanity for generations, --  and environmentally, a price that will be paid over and over again for the remainder of the Earthy existence.    

And here's  some get-in-your-face personal examples of the price you are paying for the waste of  that two trillion dollars.    Deficit financing was used to pay for all that death and destruction, and deficit financing is destroying the entire U.S. economic structure.  That's why you are paying over three dollars a gallon for gasoline .   That's why your food costs have skyrocketed.   That's why the money in your retirement pension  funds are being stolen.  That's why millions of Americans have no health care.   That's why what a dollar would buy in 1913 now takes twenty-five dollars to buy.   That's why the middle class in being pushed into  a new social class -- "new-with-poverty."

But all this is, as bad as it is, is trivial compared to the real problem:    
We have turned on nature's doomsday machine!
